Boys' soccer dominated Ouachita last night 3-0 with goals scored by Don "BeeBop" O'Toole, Miles Kairschner, and Breendan O'Toole assisted by Kareem El-Giar. Boys will be back in action tonight versus West Ouachita over at 

Scholarship applications for the Jason Paul Cameron Foundation are available in the guidance office or online at www.jpcfoundation.com. The Foundation was established in memory of Jason Cameron, a former WMHS student and Rebel Band member. Applications must be turned in to the WMHS Guidance Office by March 1, 2023. 

There is a new community scholarship application available:
Parker Alexander Attorneys at Law is awarding two scholarships: A grand prize of $2500 and a second prize of $500. To apply, students should submit an original essay with a proposal to improve traffic safety and/or reduce traffic accidents in Northeast Louisiana. Applications should also include a short statement as to individual scholarship need and the student's planned course of study in college. Applications should be delivered no later than May 1, 2023. Seniors:
If you have not ordered your Cap and Gown for our WMHS Graduation on May 11, 2023, you must do so this month before Christmas. The Graduate Shop is located at 4203 Cypress St., West Monroe, LA, or you may call them at 318-396-8232. They are open Monday-Friday from 8:30 to 5:00. Don't delay. This needs to be done as soon as possible. 

The Ag Department will have a Christmas Sale of Amaryllis Flower Bulbs again this year on Thursday and Friday December 15th-16th from 8 am-3 p.m. in the School Office Entrance. Bulbs are $15 and in the colors of red, white, and a red and white mix. See Mr. Kavanaugh with any questions. 

Tennis is hosting a Christmas Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, December 17, starting at 9 am at the Rebel Tennis Courts.  There are divisions for all ages and all levels of play!  See one of our Rebel Tennis players or Coach Green to sign up. 

Baseball tryouts have been moved to Saturday, January 7th. Players intending to try out still need to come by Coach Kidd's room (1211) and get a physical form

Students you can now start signing up for the next Drivers Ed class at gorebs.org, One class will start Thursday January 5th and another class will start on January 17th when we return from the holidays. See Coach Osborne in the Old Gym or Coach John Barron in room 1221.

Drivers Ed Class Information:
Class Dates: January 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th 23rd 24th
Class times: 3:30pm-8:30pm
Parent Meeting: Monday, January 16th in the upstairs meeting room at the football field house at 5:00pm
Location: Football fieldhouse on WMHS campus.
Cost: $295. To be paid online via gorebs.org website.
Students must be 15 years old within 30 days after the class starting.
Student must have a TIP card issued by the DMV before the first class begins.
Dates and times, although unlikely, are subject to change.
